Northminster FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about Northminster...
- What are your worship services like?
- We have a traditional worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, lasting about an hour. Children are welcome. Daycare is offered throughout the service for infants up to two years old, and Sunday school begins for children older than two halfway through the worship service, after a children's message. The sacrament of Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month. We also have a Taizé worship service on the third Thursday of every month, September-May, at 7 p.m. This is a contemplative service with communion, singing, prayers, and silence. It is informal and open to all.

- The Community Interfaith Labyrinth, located on Northminster's north grounds, was dedicated in 2008 by the Troy Interfaith Group. It is a symbol of the peace and harmony between various religious traditions in our community. The Interfaith Labyrinth is open year-round for all to walk the path and meditate, pray, dream, find peace, or ponder.
